Water Temp: 54 Degrees Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility) Report: On water at irst light. Float tubed, picthing jigs to tules whith no sucess. Decided to move o bank and drop shot. Hooked into 2 ish about a 1 1/2 lbs.. Swicthed back to a jig working it deeper around a sunken tree. Felt just weight and set the hook. The reward was a nice ish about 4 lbs. Worked the area till the weather started to change. Let lake about 1:30. All in all a good day or the 3rd time on the lake. Looking orward to the water warming.
City: Santa Rosa Tips: Yamamoto Twin Tail Hula Grub, #221 on a 3/8 oz. Football Jig, worked very slowly aroundsunken trees or other submerged isolated cover. As water warms move to slower cover.
Water Temp: 60-65 Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility) Report: Whent to the very back by the two ponds and cought lots o ish. Me and my dad went or 3-4hr's. we had to o cought over 10 a peace. Once the worm hit the warter it only took 3 or so sec till your line started to move. All ish were 1-2 bls with three going over 4bls or so. ish were close to the shore and next to cover. Had had a great day and will be going over the weekend.

Seemed to be a very slow day didn't even meter many ish at all, wanted to stay away rom lone creek as I have clients this weekend and thought I might ind something New!000! However I did hook-up with two small 8lb ish driting Minnows, Bite still seems to be only in one area and i someone knows o another Please let me know! Cut bait,Minnows in Lone creek is the only place thats consistent, must be a ton o ish moving in there ever day.Well I'll be back tomarrow and test the waters some more! Water Temp: 64 Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility) Report: Only the second time I've been their in ive years. Water is very low only ramp I was told was at the dam. It looks like the lake is about 30 eet down. I caught a lot o shakers and only three legal size. with the biggest being about 2 pounds. Banks are litered with dead timber are steap and sandy with only a ew rocky banks I thought the timbe would be a good place to pick up some good ish but all I ound was dinks. Caught ish on jerk baits, worms, top water, and even one on a spiner bait, white.

Water Temp: 66 to 68 Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility) Report: Just ished the Anglers Choice Regionals. We caught ish on jigs, drop shot, split shot and C-rig. We heard bigger ish were shallow but couldn't ind any. Some claimed to catch jig ish deep. We caught most o our ish or 5 days ( over 180 ) in 35 to 100 oot o water. Mostly 45 to 54 eet. Points, humps and rock piles. 7 to 9 pounds in ive ish each day. Pond smelt everywhere. Tips: Jigs in crawdad colors, worms in pond smelt colors. Carolina rigs in watermelon baby brush hogs or lizards.
Water Temp: 70 Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility) Report: I got out ater work today but a park ranger (who wanted to leave early on a Friday) kicked me o the water at 6:00! Only got about an hour in on the water. No ish but I'll get them next time!

I caught 3 in about 20 minutes, beore the ranger made me move my car (can't park on Alamitos Rd. apparently). I saw plenty o big ish on my ish inder, so drop shot should work. I was using Senkos with a small sliding sinker.SJC

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility) Report: Had a great day on the lake yesterday the 9th. The ishing was pretty good with largemouths to 4lb and smallies near 3 being caught. But the best part o the day was getting to meet and share the lake with a great bunch o olks. You can imagine that I approached the guiding o a party o 13 with more than a little trepidation, but it couldn't have worked out better. They were headquartered on 2 rented patio boats and anchored up on locations where I thought they could catch ish while I took a couple at a time and went to other spots. When a good supply o ish were ound we went back and got the rest o the gang and they moved to the new spot. It worked! Everyone in the party who really wanted to catch a ish did with the exception o one, and watching her persistence leads me to beleive she will be cleaning everybodies clock real soon. Go Helen. Thanks Tom, Kathleen and the gang. I every day guiding went like that one I truly would have the best job in the world.
City: Weaverville Tips: Baby brush hogs and Pro Worms accounted or all o the ish except a couple which were caught on spider grubs. Everything was ished on 1/8 or1/4 ball jigs.
Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility) Report: Large numbers o healthy 2-4 pounders caught all day long i you know where they are. Largest one 5lbs. These ish ight!! KBR is a great place to ish.
City: Merced Tips: In the morning ish are on the banks. When the sun is up they move out to the oshore weedbeds. In the evening they move back to the shore. Dark colored Senkos are working as well as Brush Hogs.

Water Temp: 65 Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility) Report: Went ishing ater work rom 5:30pm to 8pm with a riend. Didn't get any action until 7:30pm when my riend caught an 11" bass. 15 minutes ater that he caught another 12.5" bass. Then right ater that I caught an 18", 4 lb bass! Took me a ew minutes to bring her in with my ultralight setup. We caught them all using Texas-rigged plastic worms. Right ater I released the 4 pounder, we saw an even bigger bass cruise by. It must've been at least 5 pounds and it was only 10 eet out.
